Services
Facility and Instrumentation
The facility is divided into three separate areas:
• TB/ Bacteriology Laboratory
• Virology Laboratory
• BSL3 simulator/ Training Laboratory
Each laboratory has dedicated AHUs and separate entry and exits ensuring minimal cross-contamination, easy traffic flow and partitioned decontamination schedules. A centralized Building Monitoring System (BMS) system monitors the HVAC and power supply so that the facility can perform uninterrupted and independently of other building systems. Access to the facility is controlled and only by authorization. Interconnected dynamic pass-boxes with UV light are used for transferring samples inside and outside of laboratories
