SUBJECT: EXHIBITION OF MEDICAL BOOKS.

Dear Sir,
It is proposed to hold an Exhibition of books published in health sciences at the B.B. Dikshit Library of AIIMS in the month of February, 2008. Only the books published in 2007 and 2008 shall be displayed. The books shall be purchased by the library on the recommendation of faculty members of the Institute, after duplicate checking. If you are interested to arrange an Exhibition of books, kindly let us know the maximum discount to the library for their purchase.
Your reply should reach the undersigned before 22nd January, 2008. If no reply is received, it will be presumed that you are not interested in arranging the Exhibition. The preference will be given to those firms who quote maximum discount. Please note that we accept the bank conversion rates on the date of billing. The exact date for Exhibition shall be communicated to you later on.

Reservation for SC/ST candidates in All India Quota PG Seats

All India Entrance Examination for MD/MS/PG Diploma and MDS Courses-2007- Reservation for SC/ST candidates in All India Quota PG seats.
In the application filed before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India had proposed 15 % reservation for SC candidates and 7.5 % reservation for ST candidates in the All India Quota seats of Post-Graduate medical/dental courses for admission from the academic session 2007-08. The Hon’ble Supreme Court has approved the above said proposal to provide 22.5 % reservation for SC/ST candidates under the All India Quota in Post Graduate admissions in Government Medical/Dental colleges, while disposing of application filed by Central Government in Buddhi Prakash Sharma case Vs. Union of India, WP18/2005 on 31st January, 2007.
