Reservation for SC/ST candidates in All India Quota PG Seats

All India Entrance Examination for MD/MS/PG Diploma and MDS Courses-2007- Reservation for SC/ST candidates in All India Quota PG seats.

In the application filed before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India had proposed 15 % reservation for SC candidates and 7.5 % reservation for ST candidates in the All India Quota seats of Post-Graduate medical/dental courses for admission from the academic session 2007-08.   The Hon’ble Supreme Court has approved the above said proposal to provide 22.5 % reservation for SC/ST candidates under the All India Quota in Post Graduate admissions in Government Medical/Dental colleges, while disposing of application filed by Central Government in Buddhi Prakash Sharma case Vs. Union of India, WP18/2005 on 31st January, 2007.

  1. This facility will be available only to those faculty members who have served this Institute for a minimum period of three years and who have more than three years of service to look forward to, at the Institute.
  2. This facility will be granted to those faculty members who have not availed of the same during the last two financial years on the pattern i.e. one full grant (as per entitlement) and one token grant for a two year period. (as approved by SFC on 05.07.94/& by GB on 13.05.95/05.06.95/)
  3. Those who are selected for such a support will be required to submit to the Director, a detailed report of the conferences, they have attended and other activities, in which they participated so that the Institute may derive benefits from such participation in the conferences etc.

MEMORANDUM

Subject: Grant of Institute’s support to meet the travel costs in respect of faculty members and non-faculty staff for participation in the International Scientific Congress/Conference etc. abroad for the IInd part of the Financial Year 2007-2008 i.e. from 01.08.2007 to 30.11.2007.

Applications are invited from the faculty members and other non-academic staff of the Institute for the award of financial support for participation in the International Scientific Conferences abroad during the Hind part of the financial year 2007-2009 (i.e. from 01.08.2007 to 30.11.2007).

All the Professors and Head of the Departments are, therefore, requested to kindly submit proposals for grant of financial support in the prescribed proforma in respect of the faculty members and other non-academic staff of their respective departments, if the stipulated conditions are satisfied so as to reach the undersigned as early as possible but not later than 30th June, 2007.

A copy of the new prescribed proforma for such support as approved by the Institute may be obtained either from the FACULTY CELL or can be downloaded from the official website i.e. www.aiims.ac.in

Applications/proposals received after the stipulated dates are not to be entertained under any circumstances.  No individual requests/proposals will be considered after the proposals received within the stipulated date, are approved and grant disbursed.

All Faculty Members/Non-Faculty Staff are requested to kindly mention his/her option either for full or token grant at the time of applying for grant.  Both options from one applicant will be disqualification and such applications would not be considered for any type of grant.

CORRIGENDUM / ADDENDUM

Subject: Recruitment to the posts of Senior Residents / Senior Demonstrators on adhoc basis for the tenure period as per Govt. of India’s Residency Scheme at the AIIMS, New Delhi.

With reference to the advertisement notification no. 13-01/2007 (July) – Acad. I dated 22.05.2007 displayed in various leading newspapers on the above subject, the following changes may be noted:

  1.   The qualification under Para 6 of the said advertisement may be read as under:

    The candidates who have qualified their P.G/Diploma/Ph.D. exam by 30.06.2007, will only be eligible to appear for written MCQs Examination followed by department assessment. The candidate are also required to complete their tenure of JR by 31.07.2007.

  2. The date of written examination under Selection Procedure Para (b) may be read as under:

    A written Examination based on MCQs in the subject concerned (total marks 100) will be conducted for eligible candidate on 20.06.2007 (Wednesday) in Delhi only. The exact time and place will be intimated in due course of time through admit card.

  3. The last date for submission of forms is changed to 11.06.2007 (since 10.06.2007 being  Sunday).
