His research contributions in haematology include working on hemopoietic cell culture, electron microscopy, ELISA, immuno-fluorescence, red cell Enzymes, oral iron chelator & Drug evaluation. He has worked in several broad groups of hematological chelator & Drug evaluation. He has worked in several broad groups of hematological diseases, particularly in the fields of hemostasis as well as in thrombosis (particularly in splanchnic venous thrombosis).
