Biography: Dr Saurabh Vig is working presently as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Onco-Anaesthesia and Palliative Medicine at National Cancer Institute, Jhajjar, AIIMS. HE completed his graduation from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal in 2011. He did his post-graduation (M.D) in Anaesthesia from M.S Ramaiah Medical college, Bangalore in in 2015. Thereafter he worked as a senior resident in the Department of Anaesthesia and Critical care at PGI Chandigarh from August 2015 to December 2015. He joined his super speciality of interest as a DM resident at the Department of Onco-Anaesthesia and Palliative Medicine, BRAIRCH, AIIMS in January 2016. He completed his DM in Onco-Anaesthesia in January 2019. He continued to work as a senior resident at Department of Onco-Anaesthesia and Palliative Medicine from January to 15 March 2019. He joined as an Assistant Professor at super Specialty Cancer Institute and Hospital (SSCI&H), Lucknow in March 2019 and worked there till September 2019. He joined as Assistant Professor at Department of Onco-Anaesthesia and Palliative Medicine at National Cancer Institute (NCI), AIIMS in October 2020 and is presently working there. Research Interest: He has special interest in Clinical, Teaching and Research activities. He has special interest in Thoracic anaesthesia and difficult airway. He is involved in palliative care of cancer patients and has a special interest in cancer pain management. |
