vThe 60 years of AIIMS is depicted by a concept of “6” and “0” with two additional arms which complete theTrinity of Mission of AIIMS i.e. Patient Care, Education and Research.
vThe logo concept is based on the colour code of Indian National Flag. The Green coloured circle is the suggestive of “0” of 60 years. The circle houses AIIMS logo in blue.

· Past Activities of CMET:
CMET was integral part of Faculty Development Program conducted at AIIMS, New Delhi. The main function was to evolve in need oriented, self reliant plan for improvement of Medical Education in India with emphasis on development indigenous educational technology. CMET played a major role in organizing various national level program on Medical Education with special emphasis on curricular design, improving teaching methods, innovative objective methods of evaluation and assessment for undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs. Supportive Activities & Media Related Activities:
In the field of Medical Photography CMET provides the technical support to the AIIMS faculty, residents & other health professionals. Not only photography, the modern state of the art videography, editing work is also being carried out by this department. The services of CMET are being used in the following areas, which are later used for educational purpose.
- Poster designing and printing for conference/ workshop etc.
- Designing of power point slides
- Scanning of X Ray CT, MRI films
- Photo editing
- Video shooting & editing etc.

In addition to that CMET extends its media photography & videography support to conduct the Convocation & Institute Day celebrations. During Institute Day CMET prepares more than 200 educational posters for the general public, which is really a commendable task.
