• Set up MRI services at AIIMS-September 1993. 1^st clinical case done on 1/12/1993
• Founder member of epilepsy surgery team at AIIMS-April 1995
• Setup program on MRA evaluation of non disabling stroke-April 1995. Study published in NMJ, May 1997 issue.
• Carotid stenting for steno-occlusive disease for primary prevention of strokes-September 2000. Hands on training by John Hopkins Uinversity
• Advanced reconstructive endovascular cerebral aneurysm treatment techniques with Stent Assisted Coiling for intracranial aneurysms (Solitaire, Enterprise etc). (“Y” stenting for basilar top aneurysm)-2008 onwards
• Covered stent (Graft master for pseudo aneurysm in petrous/cavernous ICA, CCF), and Vertebro-vertebral fistulas
• Liquid embolic Onyx embolization for AVMs and Dural AVFs-2008
• Most recent surface modified coil technology/stents (Micrus, 3D coils, Axium coils)-2008
• Intracranial PTA/Stenting for cerebral atherosclerosis-2010
• Intra-arterial thrombolysis/mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischaemic stroke
• Intracranial Venous stenting (Dural sinus stenting for stenotic lesions in raised ICT)

• Normobaric Oxygen Therapy In Acute Ischemic Stroke. A pilot study in Indian patients.
• Autologous Intra-arterial infusion of bone marrow mononuclear stromal cells (BMCs) in patients of non-progressive (Static) encephalopathy with special reference to cerebral palsy.
• Restoration of function using Autologous stem cells in Indian patients with chronic ischemic stroke–DST
• Project funded by DBT on Centre of excellence (COE): Centre for Difficult to Treat Epilepsy (Megnetoencephalography (M EG).
