  • Prevalence of celiac disease in Northern part of India is 1.06% (ICMR Funded)
  • Multicenter Pan India prevalence of celiac disease: 0.67% (ICMR initiated Task Force)
  • Global prevalence of celiac disease: 0.7% (A systematic review and meta-analysis)
  • Prevalence in Asia is 0.6% (Systematic review and meta-analysis) (JGH 2016)
