A Course in Computer Programming extending over 40 Hours of theory and practicals has been conducted for the Postgraduate students of Bio-Technology.
Continuing Medical Education
Shri. S.Kailash gave a lecture on "Application of Statistics in HLA Techniques" and Shri. Satish Prasad gave practical demonstration of a software for Kidney Transplant Data Bank in the Workshop on HLA-DNA Technology conducted by the Department of Anatomy in December 1989.
Dr. R.S.Tyagi, Shri. S.Kailash, Shri. S.N.Ragu Kumar have participated in an International Symposium on Advances in Medical Physics & Computer Applications conducted by Medical Physics Unit in Feb, 1990.
Shri. S.N.Ragu Kumar Presented a paper entitled "Risk Evaluation : A Computermodel for radiation workers" in the International Symposium on Advances in Medical Physics & Computer Application conducted by Medical Physics Unit in Feb, 1990.
Shri. S.N.Ragu Kumar Participated in the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Research Society for the Study of diabetes at Madras on October 30, 1989 and presented a paper entitled "A Prototype System for Simulating Self Monitoring of Blood Glucose"
Orientation training program on computers is being conducted every week for three days for the Faculty of AIIMS. The subjects covered are :-
