Dr. Pratik Kumar

Dr. Pratik Kumar is working for last 15 years in the field of Diagnostic Medical Physics. He has been invited by several hospitals to conduct and demonstrate Quality Assurance Tests in imaging. He has 21 full length papers in journals and 3 chapters in books to his credit and has presented 61 papers in National and International conference and symposia. He is Referee for Journal of Medical Physics, Indian Journal of Cancer, Medical Science Monitor and Nature Clinical Practice Oncology, UK. He has been invited to chair sessions at National Conferences of Association of Medical Physicists of India (AMPI). He has been conferred India Quality Award 2002 for his distinguished services to medical Imaging.He has been invited as a Member, editorial board, Journal of Medical Physics, AMPI. His areas of interest are: Optimization of Information from CT scanner, Dose reduction in Angiography, Dosimetry in fluoroscopy and CT scanner, Total Quality Management (TQM) in radiological services, Development of models for better utilization of oncologic imaging.
