Abstract Submission Details
The Scientific Committee invites abstracts for
posters.
Deadline for Abstract Submission: AUGUST 31 2006. General Guidelines: ˇ Abstracts must be submitted in English, typed in Microsoft WordŽ (don't use apple or linux OS) Times New Roman, font 12. The title should be typed in UPPER case, and should contain no more than 70 characters, including space. It should be printed on the skeleton as provided on the website in the abstract form. Use single line spacing throughout the abstract. Write numbers as numerals, except at the beginning of sentences. Avoid abbreviations. ˇ The abstract should be informative, containing (a) specific aims & objectives, (b) methods, (c) results, (d) discussion & (e) conclusions of the study. For case reports, include introduction, case report and discussion. If the abstract pertains to an experimental topic or a clinical trial, state clearly the hypothesis being tested, describe quantitatively the experimental subject and statistical data used. Statements such as "results will be discussed" are not acceptable. Check the abstract thoroughly for spelling, grammar and content since it will go to the press verbatim, without editing. ˇ In the abstract form, mark the most appropriate category to which your paper belongs. ˇ Underline the name of the presenting author. This should be followed by the names of co-authors, along with the department, institution, city & e-mail (compulsory) of the presenting author. Rest of the abstract text should not exceed 250 words. ˇ Certificate of presentation will be given to the presenting author only. ˇ Only one abstract per person is permitted. ˇ Abstracts, which do not conform to the guidelines, shall not be considered for presentation. ˇ Withdrawal of abstract must be notified one month before the meeting. ˇ ALL ABSTRACTS MUST BE SENT ONLY ELECTRONICALLY AS AN ATTACHMENT TO epilepsy2006@gmail.com |
