Dear Friends,
It is our great pleasure to invite you
for the 22nd AIIMS Micro Neurosurgery
workshop organized by the
Department of Neurosurgery, AIIMS.
The three day live operative workshop is
scheduled at The All India Institute of
Medical Sciences, New Delhi from
February 13-15, 2020.
The theme for this year’s workshop is
Skull base surgery. Prof. Fred
Gentili (Canada) is an expert in
endoscopic skull base surgery and Prof.
Ali Krisht (USA) is a skull base surgeon
known for his microscopic techniques.
They will perform live surgeries along
with our AIIMS faculty. The workshop
will bring together a host of experts to
discuss & promulgate recent developments
in the field of neurosurgery.
Live transmissions from 4 operation
theaters with pre-operative and
post-operative discussions on management
of various neurosurgical procedures will
be one of the key highlights of the
workshop. This will facilitate national
& International exchange of professional
expertise.
Three-day workshop will be followed by a
micro suturing workshop that will be
beneficial for students and young
neurosurgeons. Admission to this
workshop will be on first come first
served basis and only 20 students will
be allowed.
We will be happy to provide partial
travel grants for residents. This will
also be provided on first come first
served basis.
