ACET-COUNCILOR NOMINATION

  ACET Councilors on the 2008-2009 Council from ACET North States can continue to represent their medical colleges for 2009-2010 without 
  the letter of nomination. They will need a letter at the end of the 2^nd year without which they will loose their councilor status.

  ACET NORTH COUNCILORS WILL BE AN INTEGRAL PART OF NATIONAL ACET AND WILL ENJOY FULL RIGHTS OF COUNCILORSHIP TO THE 
  COUNCIL.

  If renominated Please Mention in BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS: RENOMINATION

     ·  Dean of the MCI Recognized Medical College will nominate a One Single Faculty to be ACET-COUNCILOR
          (2009-2010).

·   The New Nominated Councilor for 2009-2010 must provide:

Ø      Most recent Curriculum Vitae

Ø      Passport Size Picture

Ø      Completed Councilor Nomination Form

Ø      Completed Registration Form and fees

Ø     Support Letter from Dean of His or Her MCI Recognized Medical College

• Objectives of INDUS-EM Academic Council 2009-2010

Ø     Facilitate the existing process for developing academic emergency medicine and Trauma care in India.

Ø     Review the INDO-US-ACET Proceedings from 2006 onwards

Ø    Confirm guidelines for an Emergency Medicine and Trauma curriculum

Ø    Explore opportunities to do an International Fellowship

Ø    Explore future vistas for conducting International research

Ø     Review Successful Faculty Development Programs started by Existing Councilors of 2009-2010
