The Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists
(IACP), since its inception in 1968, has aimed at
advancement of the field of mental health and the
profession of ‘Clinical Psychology’. The
domain of mental healthcare is progressing by leaps
and bounds, often bringing to the fore issues and
developments that may not reach all levels and
practitioners. To this end, the National
Annual Conference of Indian Association of Clinical
Psychologists (NACIACP) is a means to
facilitate and encourage interaction and exchange
amongst pioneers in the field of mental health.
All India Institute of Medical Sciences
(AIIMS), New Delhi is proud to partner with the
IACP to host the 39th NACIACP at AIIMS, Pre
Conference workshop on 17th February,
while the Main Conference from 18th to 20th
February, 2013 and, 2013. AIIMS, is considered as an
‘Institute Of National Excellence’ in the
field of healthcare. It has not only reached the
pinnacle of providing healthcare services in the
area of mental health, but has also established
itself as one of the forerunners in research. Clinical Psychology services at AIIMS is
completing 50 years since inception.
We hope that the conference not only serves its
aim of facilitating a review of current developments
but also provides ground for the inception of new
ideas and work in the area of mental health and
clinical practice.
