All major
decisions of mutual interest to the administration and the students
regarding the functioning of the hostels are taken by the Hostel Advisory
Committee and wherever necessary, duly approved by the Director and / or
other bodies of the institution
The Hostel
Section is the administrative office of the hostels. The main hostel office
is located in the building to the left as soon as you enter the Men’s
hostel. In addition most of the hostels (except Hostels 1-8) have small
offices in their premises.
To supervise the hostel section, members of the Faculty are appointed by the
Director .to work in the capacities of the Superintendent, Deputy
Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents. The Superintendent of Hostels
is the overall in-charge of the hostels. The Hostel Section looks after the
day-to-day functioning of different hostels with the Senior Warden (Mrs
Krishna Dhaka) overseeing all the hostels. A team of Deputy Wardens,
Assistant Wardens and Junior Wardens who look after individual hostels along
with other staff supports the Senior Warden. You should check and know the
respective Warden in charge of your hostel.
