  For the very first time All India Institute of Medical Sciences has displayed its books at the 19th World Book Fair. Director AIIMS Prof R.C. Deka today inaugurated the stall of AIIMS at the World Book Fair at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. He was accompanied by Dean Prof Rani Kumar, Medical Superintendent Dr. D.K. Sharma and other top executives and faculty of the Institute.  More than 200 books and journals published by the Institute Faculty over the years are on display at the Book Fair. Prof  Deka also inaugurated the stall of Jaypee – publishers  of medical books and went around the pavilions to check out what’s on display. Prof Deka said that a small beginning has been made and would be taken forward in years to come with a view to reach out to thousands of medical students looking for quality publications.
