* 3rd International AIIMSOMIANS Conference was organized at AIIMS from October 9-11, 1998 on the theme of "Emerging Frontiers of Health Care".

* The Annual AIIMSONIANS Cricket Match was organized in the Gents Hostel quadrangle AIIMS on January 1999 between the AIIMSONIANS XI and The Dean's XI. Of course, the AIIMSONIANS XI won the match (as always!).
Prof. P.K. Dave, Director and Prof. M.C. Maheshwari, Dean captined the two teams. This was followed by a lunch. The spirits were really high!!
* The Annual AIIMSONIANS Picnic and the Interns' Welcome Party were organized at `Shamrock' (Dr. Chawla's Farmhouse) in Sainik Farms in Febaury 1999. The Chawlas graciously provided the venue and all facilities. The event was a grand success.
The Annual AIIMSONIANS Dinner was organized at AIIMS Guest House on 01 October 1999. (Please remember that the Annual Dinner is always on 01 October every year, always at 7.00 PM and always at AIIMS Guest House. Please drop in even if you miss receiving the information about it.)
The AIIMSONIANS raised about Rs. 31,000.00 for helping the families of Martyrs of the Kargil War. The funds have been given to the Army Welfare Fund so as to reach the needy families. We thank all the contributors to this fund.

The AIIMSONIANS raised funds for helping a fellow AIIMSONIAN - Dr. Omhirsh Coshic who was suffering from AML and needed urgent bone marrow transplant in UK or USA.
Regular AIIMSONIANS Annual Dinners were successfully organised in the years 2000,2001 and 2002. Similarly, the annual AIIMSONIANS Picnics were also organised with usual fun and flair in the years 2000, 2001 and 2002 as also the annual AIIMSONIANS Cricket Matches.
Annual Picnic cum Interns’ Welcome Party was held on 19 January 2003 at Duke Chawla’s farm house in Sainik Farms. It was a well attended party in which 30 interns were felicitated.
Annual Cricket Match [“Omhirsh Coshic Memorial Cricket Match] was held on 16 Februray 2003 at the Gents’ Hostel Quadrangle. Prof. P.K. Dave, Director & Prof. P. Venugopal captained the Director’s AIIMSONIANS – Faculty XI and Dean’s Students XI respectively. As always, the Director’s AIIMSONIANS – Faculty XI won the match . Prof. P.K. Dave gave away the prizes.
The match was followed by lunch for the participants, players, umpires and commentators at the Swimming Pool lawns. “Sitting” commentary by Vibhore Krishna and Yogesh was greatly appreciated.
