Distinguished Professor of Neurology and Neurobiology, Director of the
Seizure Disorder Center, and Chief of Epilepsy and Clinical
Neurophysiology, the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is the
past president of the American Epilepsy Society, the American EEG Society,
and the International League against Epilepsy, He has to his credit 370
papers and chapters and published 24 books. This includes the book
Epilepsy: A Comprehensive Textbook; Surgical Treatment of the Epilepsies;
and Seizures and Epilepsy. |
Dr.
Solomon Moshe, MD

Dr. Moshe is the Present Secretary
General of the ILAE , Professor of Neurology, Neurosciences and
Pediatrics , Vice Chair, Department of Neurology , Director, Pediatric
Neurology and Director of Clinical Neurophysiology, Albert Einstein
College of Medicine. He was also the past president of the American
Epilepsy Society and the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society.
He received his medical degree from the National University of Athens
School of Medicine, Athens, Greece. He has been the recipient of
numerous honors and awards and served in many International Committees at
improving the care of patients through translational research. His
research has focused on understanding the mechanisms underlying epilepsy
and its consequences in children. |

Specializes in videotelemetry, presurgical evaluation of epilepsies
(adult). Programs for VNS (Vagal Nerve Stimulation) etc. Has many
publications and a recent all time favorite EEG textbook to his credit. |
